Bird Feeder Tube Inserts

Our hanging feeders are suitable for standard mixed bird seed. To use our bird feeder for a small seed or very fine seed such as niger you will need these inserts to stop the tray from flooding with seed.

To adjust the flow rate of the seed into the tray different size inserts can be used. Simply lift the tube up slightly and slide the inserts onto the base disk. When the tube drops back into position, the seed hole will be reduced in size.

Fine seed - both inserts
Small seed - large insert
Medium seed - small insert
Mixed seed or large seed - no inserts required
